• Successfully argued that a parent is not liable to pay child maintenance for his own autistic child.
• Obtaining an interim order for child maintenance for the sum of $4,000 per month – down from the requested sum of $49,000 per month.
• Successfully enforcing the sale of a property where the seller unilaterally attempted to back out.
• Acquitted a client accused of harbouring an illegal immigrant, despite the illegal immigrant being found on the premises of his warehouse.

With banking and asset management experiences of over 20 years, Mr. Ng previously set up and managed New Asia Ferrell Asset Management in Hong Kong and served as Executive Director – Head of Greater China with Ferrell Asset Management in Singapore. His past positions include being the CIO of a private equity firm in Beijing and a senior investment consultant with UBS AG in Singapore & Hong Kong. He was also a portfolio manager with Temasek Holdings and Fullerton Fund Management, and a senior economist with Monetary Authority of Singapore where he conducted topical studies and participated in policy formation. He holds an honours degree from London School of Economics and Political Science.

Since 2018, Ronald has been working as a private client lawyer, subsequently serving as a Partner and Head of the Immigration and Family Office department of a Singapore law firm. In this role, he worked with high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) individuals in a comprehensive range of private client matters. His expertise covers the entire spectrum of immigration services, including the Global Investor Program, Singapore Permanent Resident Applications and Renewals, and the process of converting to Singapore citizenship.
In addition to his immigration practice, Ronald has gained extensive experience in advising clients on single family office schemes, succession planning and handling probate matters for his clients. He has recently completed the Family Office Advisor Certification offered by the Singapore Institute of Wealth Management and he is a member of the Global Family Office (GFO) Circle.
Due to client demand, Ronald has expanded his expertise to include corporate secretarial services, corporate legal documentation, fund licensing, fund matters including those related to Variable Capital Companies (VCCs), employment law and general corporate/commercial matters. He has extensive experience in these areas and has successfully helped clients fulfil their needs.
